Even not only Indians , large numbers of people from rest of the world visit Delhi just to explore its famous places , buy goods from the its dazzling markets , enjoy Stellar nightlife by staying in Luxurious hotels or visiting famous clubs and eat the delicious street food.
Delhi is a must visiting city in India. But for many tourists its creates confusion to decide which places they should visit in Delhi.
So , here I am sharing with you the list of Delhi famous places along with their locations and entry fees and hope that this list will help you out to decide the famous places of Delhi.
List of Delhi famous Places :-
1) Red fort :-
Red fort is most beautiful and world famous monument situated in capital city of India and also known as Lal Qila. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1648. It is built of red sandstone and famous for its massive enclosing walls. People from all over the world visit Delhi just to explore the beauty ,grandeur , attractiveness of the Red fort. It was designated as an UNESCO world heritage site in 2007.
There are many beautiful things to see inside the Red fort like Delhi gate , Rang Mahal , Mumtaz Mahal , Diwan-i-Aam , Chhatta Chowk , 17- century bazaar to buy silks, jewelry, gems, and silverware , Hammam, the imperial baths , Naubat Khana , Hira Mahal ,Tea House and Moti Masjid etc. To explore this things , people from India and rest of the world visit Delhi ever year.
It is the place where national flag is host by Prime minister every year on 15 August i.e Independence Day . Here ,the light and sound show is organized every evening and this show recreates the history of Mughal and events related to Red Fort.

2) India Gate :-
India gate officially known as Delhi Memorial. It is located beside the Rajpath in New Delhi.Its comparison is done with Gateway of India in Mumbai and the Arch of Constantine in Rome. This most beautiful Memorial was built by Sir Edwin Lutyen and dedicated to soldiers who have sacrifice their life in the first world war. It is also popular for Republic Day Prade. The Amar Jawan Jyoti flame has been underneath the India Gate just to give tribute to the soldiers.
Due to its rich historical background , amazing architecture and boating over there , It has become most popular picnic spot for Delhiites . Whenever tourist visit Delhi , they always visit India Gate and explore its beauty , architecture and capture the memory with them.

Ticket price :- Free entry , only boating charges - Rs 50 for 15 minutes.
3) Hauz khas village :-
Hauz khas Village is located in south of Delhi. and also known as the "Urban village of Delhi". It is a stunning place for the youngsters to hangout with their friends , tourists to visit and capture the beautiful views in their memories and even for the families to spend their nice time in a day. It is also a popular spot for shooting many songs videos , movies and Prewedding shoots etc , even many photographers go their to capture the beautiful images in their camera.
It doesn't matter whether you are shopaholic , foodie or nature lover ,this place has something for every caffeine junkie!. It is also a famous romantic place for the couples. There are many spots to explore or things to do in Hauz Khas village such as :- Masha , Maquina , Rabbit Hole , Deer park , Hauz Khas district park , Hauz khas Complex, Market , Rose garden and Hauz Khas Fort etc.
Every year ,“Heritage Walks” is organizes by Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage , where people pay certain amount of fees for participation in awareness.

4) Garden of Five Senses :-
Garden of Five Senses is not a park but it is place for many activities , capturing public interactions and exploration. It is located at Said-Ul-Azaib village, close to the Mehrauli heritage area in New Delhi.
This is a must visiting place for those who come to explore the real beauty of Delhi and specially for Nature lover.

Ticket :- Rs. 20 (adults), Rs. 10 (children upto 12 years of age and senior citizens)
Timings :- 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
5) Dilli Haat :-
“ Dilli haat is much more than a spot which not only sells Handicrafts but many items”.

Tickets:- Tickets :-₹20 for Adults and ₹ 10 for children
6) Qutub Minar :-
This tower have 5 storeys with their balcony. First three storeys are made up of red sandstone and forth and fifth are made up of sandstone and marbles. At the base of the tower. The first mosque of India i.e. Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque is built at the front of this tower.
Ticket price :- Indian visitors - RS 35 and for foreign visitors - Rs 550
Timings :- 7 am to 5 pm
